Review by hotel critic
Our family stay at the Fitzwilton Hotel was a delightful experience filled with warmth and welcoming vibes. As a landscape photographer, I often seek places that offer a mix of comfort and accessibility to nature's beauty, making the hotel's proximity to the city centre and various attractions a major plus for us. The cozy ambiance and family-friendly amenities provided a sense of ease, ensuring a relaxing stay for all of us. Exploring the "sunny south east" of Ireland was made easy with the hotel's strategic location, allowing us to embark on leisurely strolls to the heart of Waterford City and immerse ourselves in the local culture. Being just a stone's throw away from the train/bus station meant that our adventures were not only convenient but also exciting for our little ones. The abundant activities nearby catered to everyone's interests, ensuring there was something for each family member to enjoy. Our family cherished the time spent together, making memories in a welcoming and inclusive environment that truly embodied the essence of Irish hospitality.
